LET’S TALK BOOTS : What is your 2024 shoe game?

From throwback military boots and
chunky soles to new takes on the
loafer
and deck shoe, here’s how to get on
the front foot as we look to wrap the
year 2024.
When you check out Men’s Flair, you
will notice a couple of stylish models
cladding footwear trends that tend to
move a bit slower.

That might be because there’s only so
much you can do with shoes; deviating
too far from the tried-and-tested designs
can quickly make them unwearable.
It could also have something to do with
the fact that proper leather shoes
are designed to last, unlike the often
disposable world of fast fashion.
Either way, neither we nor our bank
balance is complaining.

Whether you’re looking to freshen up your shoe rack or simply inject a bit
of life into your seasonal attire, these are biggest footwear trends for
2023. From chunkier silhouettes to all-black colourways, here’s how to get
on the front foot.

Laced Boots OLD (Men)

The coldest months of the year will
often bring rain and snow, and every
man needs a pair of winter shoes with a
strong and durable sole.
Above all else, he chooses our men’s
Boots for his motorbike trip up the
mountains, that weekend stroll through
the city, and long hikes by the
lake, because they take him anywhere.

Country Boots

It covers your ankle, even for your greatest
adventures. These ankle boots
take you to the countryside when autumn
tinges the fields; but also to the
city, if you want to feel wrapped in a strong

Unlined Boots

Lace-up boots, even when the days get
longer. Lighter on the feet, without
the inner lining; the foot is wrapped in the
soft leather, just as it comes

And why is everyone wearing Cartoonish Red Boots?

If you haven’t yet happened across the Big Red
Boot, then you either
haven’t been on your phone .
In case you have, somehow, missed it, the Big
Red Boot (the BRB?) is a new
shoe from New York art collective MSCHF,
described by the creators as
“Cartoon boots for a Cool 3D
World.” They add,
“Cartoonishness is an
abstraction that frees us from
the constraints of reality. If you
kick
someone in these boots they
go BOING!”.

MSCHF, are experimental fashion brand that loves using their product
releases to make a statement (often controversial ones).
They recently released boots that resemble medical casts, Birkinstock
sandals made out of Hermès Birkins, and even Satan sneakers in
collaboration with Lil Nas X that featured a drop of real blood in the
soles.
